Once again KI and I traveled to Colonial Williamsburg. We do visit often. We experience all of the seasons there, but my favorite is spring. The flowers are in full bloom. The sheep are giving birth.
The air is cool and not humid. And best of all, we fill our own garden with plants from the Colonial Nursery.
We always find something new to see or do. This last time, KI and I played RevQuest. This is sort of a history scavenger hunt, much like geocaching, where clues are delivered and sent via text. There are Revolutionary characters you meet along the way too, who also give you clues. The best thing is you do not have to know anything about the area or its history. The idea is to get one engaged and learning in a fun way.
So in between my photographing lambs and flowers, KI and I had a blast playing Rev Quest, an adventure for kids of any age.
So during these hot summer months of high humidity and heat,
enjoy Williamsburg in the Spring.
And as always, thank you for supporting my work!
