I Went Crazy this Autumn!

Autumn Alt

By now, in the dead of winter, you should know what my favorite time of year is. I wanted to share with you a few more Fall images.

I leave for Florida at the end of next week, visiting both my mom and dad on the different coasts. I hope to do a lot of photographing there.

Please enjoy these photos. The one to the right is a favorite of mine. I enjoy framing my shots with the surrounding scene.

What do you think of this technique?

Please check out the Recent Photos tab above too and I am always adding photos.

KI Thompson will be blogging this month about the pivotal last year of the Civil War which took place 150 years ago. We are fortunate to live near where the action was.

And as always, thank you for supporting my work.

    Wonderful capture !

  2. Beautiful photos, I had a blast this fall too 🙂 Your second shot inside the bridge caught my eye for the creative framing. Also different than I might have approached it by using HDR to “light up” the interior at the same time, but only because it’s become second nature to me. Not the only way to go though, as they say in French Vive la difference! In this case I think the dark interior works for more dramatic contrast between the inside of a manmade structure and the bright vibrant nature scene just outside. Also just enough detail inside the bridge to put in proper context, well done.

    • Sorry Nicolas in being so late to respond to your thoughtful critique-traveling and illness got the better of me. I agree with you. I think post processing includes what we are in the mood for at a particular moment. Thanks for your feedback. It is always well received.
