This week enjoy these photos I recently shot of Spring. Along a four mile hike at Jugs Bay in Maryland I captured these turtles on the marsh. There were several logs of turtles of all different sizes. Most are Eastern Painted turtles. I zoomed in quite a bit to get this close up. The features are a little soft.
In the forest, I also saw the first signs of Spring.
Mushrooms growing on logs. The photo here was shot using spot metering. This really contrasts the dark and light, making the photo stand out. What do you think?
The “Buoys” photo was taken in Southern Maryland on private property with the permission of the owner who is a proud Waterman. His yard was colorful and included lots of “stuff” that looked abandoned like the pitchfork below.
Next up Colonial Williamsburg. As you know by now, it is KI’s and my favorite place to visit, and this time of year is exceptional with baby farm animals and flowers in full bloom.
Enjoy this week’s photos and a very heartfelt thank you for supporting my work!
