Lavender White

Lavender White

Enjoy the photos in this blog.

The flowers were taken at Robinson Nature Center in Columbia Maryland. KI tells me that Lavender White is an invasive species. Staff and volunteers work hard to rid the grounds of these. Click on the link above to learn more about invasive species.

The Great Egrets were taken at Blackwater National  Wildlife Refuge on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I often visit this National Refuge with my fellow photographers DK and Rrrose. We spend hours there photographing the wildlife trying to capture shots like the one to the left.

I especially like the Lavender White. Have never seen it before. I guess one person’s invasive species is another person’s ground cover. (smile)
