Featherstrokes I

Featherstrokes I

By now you know that I enjoy taking photos of birds. I also struggle with photo captions as discussed in previous blogs. This series was easy for me. The photos screamed “Featherstrokes”.

I got a little creative with “Featherstrokes” to make the photo stand out. Let me know what you think.

I know some of you are purists and do not think  a photo should be edited at all, but photo editing started long before digital photography, and it is common practice. With that said, I am always thrilled when  photo appears perfectly right out of my camera, which is almost never.

I hope you enjoy these photos. All of the birds were taken at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge which is on the eastern shore of Maryland. It is a National Park and is full of beauty. KI and I purchase a National Parks pass every year so we can enjoy our country’s natural beauty.
