When I first started showing photos on Fine Art America, I judged the quality of my shot by how many viewed it. That was four years ago. I would delete photos that got little attention. I do not do that anymore. I have come to realize that like with all art, photos resonate personally with individuals. What I know about the “shot’ and what it means to me as the photographer is not always shared with you, the purveyor of art. Even if I tell the story behind the photo, it may not connect.
So with that in mind, I started reviewing some older shots, decided to spruce them up a bit and bring them back online. It’s okay if they do not resonate with you. I like what I have done and want to share them again.
So in that spirit, I dust off these older photographs, all but one taken in the state of Maryland, and present them again. The lighthouse was taken on approach to Nassau, Bahamas.
Check out my Recent Photos too by clicking on the words here. i have noticed that they get overlooked. There are some “discarded photos” resuscitated there too.
I also keep forgetting to tell you that I am now on an art site that sells to corporate and government clients. Click here to see that site. They cater specifically to that clientele, and I have sold photos on that site.
So please take a new look around my blog site and the other sites I link here, and let me know what you think. I am always interested in your opinion.
Thanks for supporting my work all these years,
