This has been a tough year for selling art. I have sold some photos on a corporate website, but little on my website. It does not stop me from enjoying photographing. I also wrote a lot of blogs at the beginning of this year, but getting them out to the public is challenging. I use FB and promo on several sites there. I have a personal mailing list too. I twitter the blogs also. Anyone have any ideas?
I have not blogged in over a month. Mostly because life has gotten in the way-work, illnesses, KI in the hospital(she is doing great now) and the shifting of seasons which cause more work on the home front.
KI and I started our weekend trips last month, delaying them for 3 weeks so she could recover. We have been to the Chincoteague area of Virginia, Shenandoah National Park and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We try to get in or near a National Park every time. Next week is Harper’s Ferry. The weather has been yucky to use the most appropriate word I could find. Raining or foggy.
The Delmarva(Delaware, Maryland and Virginia) area has broken consecutive days of rain. I think they stopped counting mid-May. This weekend is gorgeous but hot! We are not traveling for the first time in three weeks.
Using creativity, I have tried to photograph our world through the frustrating weather.
I am pleased with a few and may use one or two for this year’s County Fair. “Stormy Waters” were taken near Chincoteague national Park on Pokomoke Sound. The foggy or misty photos were taken in Shenandoah National Park where we saw a black bear but could not get a photo as there was a long line of cars in the way.
Let me know your thoughts?
Thanks for reading my blog and viewing my photos!
