When this blog posts, KI and I will be on the last camping adventure of the year. As I write this, it is already turning cold. Autumn has come late so over the next month or so, I hope to share with you Autumn photos. But I digress.
During our Niagara Falls trip, I took some photos at Old Fort Niagara, a strategic fort during the War of 1812 and a critical fort for the US during the 18th and 17th centuries. Get by the Fort and up Niagara Falls, and you would control the critical waterways of the United States-the 5 Great Lakes!
As I post the last of my photos from any long traveling tour, there are always one or two miscellaneous pictures, that I really like, left over that do not seem to have a home in a blog. At first I do not know what to do with them. After much thought(weeks and weeks), as with Maine last year, I create a post especially for them. They are usually photos that mean more to KI and me and are without the star power of a Niagara Falls with the mist or an Acadia sunset, but none-the-less, I want to share them.
I always try to capture light houses as my Mom loves them. And what is a trip without history as KI and I love everything about touring historical sites.
So today, enjoy these photos. They capture my family’s loves.
