KI and I traveled to Lancaster PA in mid-November to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with 70 other women from all walks of life. It was much colder than expected, but we had a blast, meeting new friends, touching base with old friends and sharing stories around a toasty campfire.
We were not sure whether we were up for the trip as we were still reeling from the election results. But once we got there, we found comfort in being with so many like minded women.
We forgot, for just a small slice of time, and laughed, ate great homemade Thanksgiving treats and played.
I enjoyed creating these photos of Pennsylvania Dutch country. Wilbur Chocolate is an institution in this area. Who knew? But we bought some chocolate.
