Winter in Maryland

Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice

Only a few weeks until our Caribbean cruise… Yay! This was a last minute booking late last year after the 2016 US election. Part of my resolution not to wait until next year to enjoy life.

This winter so far has been fairly uneventful. But I am writing this post three weeks before it actually posts so who knows what will happen.

One of my favorite places to go and shoot is Robinson Nature Center here in Columbia. No matter the time of year, I always find new subjects to photograph. I also can hike the trails by myself safely.

I had some fun using an app called Glaze to edit some of the photos. I like the effect.

I suggest it for those who have a photo that they like but want to add some effects to make the photo really stand out.

Enjoy my winter shots!
